E-Talk Interview (Part 2/2)

Adam Lambert to Attend The Blonds Fashion Show — EXCLUSIVE

Adam Lambert is set to attend next Tuesday’s MUCH-ANTICIPATED runway presentation from The Blonds during NY Fashion Week, sources confirm exclusively to JustJared.com.

Fancy footwear designer Christian Louboutin designed all of the shoes that will be hitting the catwalk. Designers David and Phillipe Blond (pictured here) collaborated with Christian on all of the embellishing, so each shoe will go perfectly with each look from the show.

“There is a special model who will be opening the show,” another source tells Just Jared. “And it will drive the audience BA NA NAS!”

SERIOUS ISSUE REGARDING THE BOOK "ON THE MEANING OF ADAM LAMBERT"

PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS
WHEN CONSIDERING YOUR PURCHASE!

The book contains explicit sexual fantasies
about Adam Lambert

My review posted both on their website and at Amazon.com:

I think as fans, it is our ethical responsibility to offer our critique of this book to people who should be afforded a description of what this book is about, especially for minors.

My review posted both on their website

At Amazon.com:

"This is serious stuff ladies. I am appalled by your promotion and plugs to buy this book with no explanation of what this book is even about (there is no description on Amazon AT ALL). That is irresponsible on both of your parts.

At least have the decency to describe what people are buying so that they can make an informed decision about whether to purchase it or not..

I realize you want to make a profit on your book. Understandable. Defend yourselves if you must to grown women and men. But in good conscience (if you have one) the books description should, at the very least, include a warning that it MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE UNDER 18."

American Idol's Adam Lambert

Dominates Idol's Great Performances (Exclusive)

Feb. 6, 2010

By Joshua Molina, HispanicBusiness.com

With American Idol fully back in swing and the hit show expected to dominate network television for the next four months, it is a good time to reflect on American Idol's greatest performances. Each season has produced some amazing performances and 2010 is likely to do the same. Here's Idols' Top 13 performances, which of course, feature three from Adam Lambert.

13. Tracks of My Tears, Adam Lambert. This made Smokey Robinson rise to his feet and give a standing ovation

12. Alone, Carrie Underwood. Brilliant, beautiful and the 80s hairspray rocked.

11. Heartless, Kris Allen. Just when you thought the shy Allen was out of the competition he rebounded with a game-changing guitar-laced masterpiece of the Kanye West song. He likely won the show based off this performance.

10. In the Ghetto, Taylor Hicks. Yes, Taylor Hicks is by far the least dynamic of all the American Idol winners, but his performance of arguably Elvis' greatest song was moving.

9. Respect, Kelly Clarkson. The first idol (and best?) Idol winner helped make this show a hit for seasons to come. So easy to root for with her unpretentious manner, Clarkson showed Aretha and the world she has soul.

8. Superstar, Ruben Studdard. Ruuuben, was a bit boring and predictable, but his voice was flawless and his version of the Carpenters classic blew away the competition in Season 2.

7. Hallelujah, Jason Castro. This song was so powerful and moving, had Castro not followed it up with a disastrous "I Shot the Sheriff," he may very well have won instead of David Cook.

6. A Change is Gonna Come, Adam Lambert. The chameleon Lambert distinguished himself as the master of the Idol stage with his chilling version of the Sam Cooke song. Lambert's voice shines here and this was one of his best (of many) moments while on stage.(Updated: Great video quality here, thanks to a reader).

5. You Give Love a Bad Name, Blake Lewis. Before Adam Lambert, Blake Lewis was breaking the rules on Idol. His beat-boxing performance of the Bon Jovi classic was a show-stopper, and proved that an Idol contestant can bring originality to a classic.

4. Billie Jean, David Cook. Cook consistently delivered breakthrough performances. This was his best.

3. Imagine, David Archuleta. John Lennon would have been proud.

2. Summertime, Fantasia Barrino. From Porgy & Bess, Fantasia, on her knees, gave an iconic performance.

1. Mad World, Adam Lambert. Brilliant, chilling, moving, Lambert raised the bar higher than anyone with this skillful take on the Tears For Fears classic.

Adam Lambert Celebrates His Birthday - Interview LA Times

Adam Lambert celebrates his birthday --
and the Grammys -- in style
February 2, 2010 | 5:28 am

If there were an award for busiest non-performer or presenter on Grammy night, it might have to go to Adam Lambert. Last year's "American Idol" runner-up spent most of his time on Sunday's red carpet working it, as the special fashion correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight." Among the pop stars who made their way to Adam's corner: Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Katy Perry and the Black Eyed Peas.

The one-off gig capped off a jam-packed weekend that included the star-studded Clive Davis party on Saturday and his own 28th birthday blow-out at the Mondrian Hotel the night prior, which was attended by fellow season 8 finalists Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Lil Rounds and Megan Joy, as well as Slash and Lindsay Lohan, with Samantha Ronson manning the turntables. Before that, Adam spent most of Friday making the downtown L.A. rounds, hitting the official Grammy gift lounge, doing a few interviews and, suffice it to say, posing for hundreds of photos.

Whew! No wonder he looked exhausted (but still dashing) when we caught up with him at the end of the carpet. Here's some of what he had to say about Grammy fashions and Gaga.

How did your "ET" responsibilities go today?

It was fun! It was a great way for me to interact with my fellow peers in the recording industry, even though I'm just the new kid on the block. I got to talk about what I love, which is music and fashion. It was a nice little job that I got, and I think that the women especially appreciated that it was me reviewing them and not some catty woman.

Did you have to prep much for the job?

No prep. I like talking to people, and it was nice to switch positions and be the one asking the questions for a change. It was refreshing and also good for perspective. It can be tiring.

The Grammys are known for outrageous fashions ...

That's one of the things I liked most about it. At the Grammy Awards, people shouldn't dress traditionally; they should express themselves and go out on a limb. People like Lady Gaga, of course, wearing a strange avant-garde fashion installation around her body. I'm loving that; good for her!

Did you talk to Gaga?

Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk to her, but I did get to see it, and I yelled her name and we made eye contact. I think I got a slight smirk; it was like an inside smile, because Gaga was in character.

Do you think there's a philosophy or narrative behind all her kooky outfits?

If there is, I'm not aware of it. I think it's just art. It's like looking at a great painting -- it's pretty and interesting because it is. She puts thought into the dimensions, the dynamics, the colors, the proportions. ... It's definitely high art and high fashion.

Who did you get to gab with?

It was nice to connect with Pink, who's responsible for my hit song right now. I've only seen her a couple times. She looked great and was so sweet. I love Katy Perry. She and I are friends, and we've hung out before in social situations; she always has such a great sense of humor. I saw Kesha, who I also love. The Black Eyed Peas, I think they're so stylish; they always look cool.

Taylor Swift?

Yeah, I don't know her that well. I've only met her once in passing, but she's so well-spoken and sweet. I just haven't really been up on her music, but lovely girl.

Tell us a little about your birthday party. We heard Rihanna was coming?

It was amazing. She was going to try to go, but she didn't make it, unfortunately. Samantha Ronson was my DJ, and she did a great job. It was a fun night.

How late did you stay out?

I had a suite upstairs at the Mondrian, and we stayed up till about 5. I had a bunch of people over; we continued the party well until the wee hours. It was a big year, I had to celebrate it appropriately.

MTV Newsroom - Who Is a Better Grammy Correspondent?

Adam Lambert Versus Snooki:
Who Was The Better Grammy Correspondent?
Posted 3 hrs ago by Jim Cantiello in Grammys

Back in the day, we had Joan Rivers on the red carpet asking celebs, "Who are you wearing?" These days, as proven by last night's Grammy Awards red carpet rundown, media outlets tap famous guest correspondents to handle fashion reports. "Entertainment Tonight" hired former "American Idol" fave Adam Lambert to rock the fashion questions while MTV sent Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of "Jersey Shore" fame.
But which "reporter for a day" did you like better?

As "ET" Fashion Correspondent, Lambert had three patented moves. First, he told the ladies that their outfits were "beautiful." Then Lambert asked to see their backs. Finally, he flew into his falsetto to let out an adorably high-pitched, "Whaaaaat?!" Lambert's selfish microphone handling needs improvement (the mic belongs in your interview subject's face, Adam!), but he more than makes up for that by calling Taylor Swift a "glamazon" and Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas a "spaceman." Win!
Snooki's style was a smidge less refined than Adam's. Just as she was on "Jersey Shore," Snickers had zero filter. When she had a thought, she said it. In most cases, that "in your face" style yielded spectacular results. (Did you ever think you'd live to see Miley Cyrus and Fergie act star-struck?) But there were a few awkward instances, like when she told grunge gods Alice in Chains she had no idea who they were. But bonus points for Snooki getting celebs phone numbers! I'd like to see Barbara Walters try that.

Lady Gaga & Adam Lambert Steal The Red Carpet

52nd Grammys: Lady GaGa and Adam Lambert

Steal the Red Carpet

GaGa collaborates with high fashion designer Georgio Armani to create a dress that turns head while Lambert wears a suit that refuses to go plain on the surface.
