Adam Lambert Pleas - Whatya Want From Me?

When the man asks a question fifteen times in one song, he's serious about getting an answer, and Adam Lambert is as serious as a heart attack about getting the answer to this one.
In his new video Whatya Want From Me? Lambert presents a visual snapshot of his emotional whereabouts, and the compass isn't exactly pointing north. This latest musical montage adds yet another brick to the house of the rising star, as he examines the demands of career and relationships through his own fetching eyes.
And fetching they are.
Throughout the video, Lambert delivers a melancholy and morose myriad of emotional images that give us a peek at the not-always-fab side of life as a public figure, something he's clearly coming to terms with during those quiet moments in the limo.

As the video progresses, we see Lambert run the gamut of lo-motions from sadness, anger, exasperation, loneliness, isolation, and confusion, finally culminating with a single tear drop which leads us to beg the question "Who the hell's in that picture?"
The video clearly and sympathetically depicts the multitude of directions an artist gets pulled into when dealing with record companies, fans, lovers, family, friends, collaborators and employees. The manner in which he tells the story from a personal and professional perspective is what makes the message so poignant.
So while he takes a second to breathe, his fans have been rendered breathless.
And damn, he looks good in that suit.
While this latest video is just a small particle of glitter on Lambert's emerging fame phenomenon, it's relevant. So carry on, Mr. L. And if you're asking us what it is we want from you?
That's easy.
Just breathe.
